Do I need a fully formed idea before I contact you?
No. Many founders arrive with a problem area or opportunity rather than a polished plan. The
Foundations Lab exists specifically to shape and test early ideas.
Do you take equity?
Most advisory and mentoring work is fee-based. For a small number of high-potential engagements, a
hybrid arrangement may be considered if it suits both sides.
Can you guarantee funding?
No one can guarantee funding. What we can do is improve readiness, the narrative and the targeting of
the right investors or supports.
Are your programmes remote or in-person?
Most engagements blend online and in-person sessions depending on the programme, cohort and founder
location.
Do you only work with tech startups?
No. We also work with service, professional and impact-driven businesses that have scalable
potential.
Do you help with legal, tax or accounting?
We do not provide regulated advice, but we can frame the right questions and connect you with the
right partners when needed.
I’m outside Ireland. Can I still work with you?
Yes, subject to availability. Our focus is Ireland, the UK and Europe, and many supports can be
delivered remotely.
